Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Alexandra has a deep connection to the community and a personal appreciation for the character, history, and unique environment of the Tampa Bay area. Growing up alongside St. Petersburg’s fast growth over the past 15 years gave Alexandra a unique appreciation for the role architecture plays in shaping a community and preserving the character that makes it feel like home.
Alexandra began her studies in engineering at the University of North Florida before pursuing architecture and community design. She earned her Master of Architecture and Community Design from the University of South Florida, where her thesis explored adaptive reuse and the preservation of built heritage. Since graduating, she has gained experience in residential architecture and construction documentation, contributing to hundreds of homes throughout her career.
At Donegan Design, Alexandra is excited to bring her professional experience back to the community she has always called home. She is particularly interested in creating thoughtful, resilient homes that respond to the unique challenges of Florida. She believes good design should not only serve the people who live in a home, but also contribute positively to the community and place around it.
